Howard Borst's Bio:

Howard Borst (Colonel, USAF Retired) has over 30 years of experience in major systems acquisition, program management, product development, integration, fielding and support.  His role today leading Falcon Integrated Systems leverages this experience and helps customers establish realistic and viable solutions to operational requirements.   In his Air Force career Howard oversaw the acquisition, development and fielding of many major weapon systems ranging from large Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, design and installation of information technology infrastructure and security systems as well as advanced propulsion systems for the F-22 and F-35 fighter aircraft. During his service he also headed the USAF Force Protection Program Office that developed electronic security systems protecting national assets of the highest value. His tenure produced many “Leap-ahead” security technologies such as ground surveillance radar, automated decision support systems, tactical unmanned air vehicles and remotely operated weapons.    After his retirement from the Air Force Howard most recently led the development of FLIR (NYSE: FLIR) integrated surveillance systems for homeland security and force protection requirements. His team developed both fixed and mobile surveillance systems that are used to protect assets ranging from nuclear power plants to ports and international borders.  Prior to working for FLIR he worked in a similar capacity for ICx Technologies (NYSE: ICXT) of Arlington Virginia.   Howard is a published author, DoD Certified Program and Test Manager.  He is a Wharton trained Product Manager and Strategic Planner with a Masters in Systems Management from the University of Southern California and a BS from Loyola Marymount University.
